The culinary project "Q'Bocados Bistró" was born from the enthusiasm of Ana Victoria Castro and Jhonnattan Contreras, a married Venezuelan couple, who made Charleston, South Carolina, their new home.

In July 2018, Ana Victoria, also a graduate in Economics, made the decision to put her knowledge as an International Chef into practice in this wonderful gastronomic venture, accompanied by her husband Jhonnattan as a logistical and strategic advisor. Together, and eagered to bring a little piece of their homeland to Charleston, they started their project from the kitchen of the small apartment where theylived.

They soon realized the boom their Venezuelan recipes were taking, and moved to a residence with more space to increase their production and offer better and better services to their customers who soon became friends.

The constant support of the customers and the receptivity of the community became the biggest motivation and enthusiasm for their project. Therefore, in August 2020 they moved again to continue improving the quality of their products, and to be able to serve properly their large clientele, making their gastronomic dream come true: to satisfy the culinary tastes of countless customers and friends.

Passionate about what they do, with sacrifice and tenacity they have managed to climb important positions to become a reference of Venezuelan flavor in the region, and remain firm in their purpose to continuously improve to suit their customers, and make their day with the best desserts, mini arepas, tequeños... and much more!
